This department, established in 2023, has been dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care to our community. In the year 2022-23, it successfully treated 5336 cases in the outdoor clinic, making a positive impact on the oral health of the people we serve. The clinic operates under the auspices of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, and remains open on all weekdays.

Our well-equipped department features four modern dental chairs, a state-of-the-art X-ray unit, sterilizing machines, and a complete range of consumables. This allows us to deliver high-quality dental services in a comfortable and safe environment. 

Furthermore, our commitment extends beyond our clinic We regularly organize various dental camps, relief efforts, and welfare activities, reaching out to all sections of society. Our mission is driven by the belief that "The best way to find oneself is to lose oneself in the service of others." This motto guides us in our unwavering dedication to improving oral health and well-being in our community.

Symptoms of Neuro-ophthalmology:

  • Sudden decrease or loss of vision
  • Sudden transient loss of vision (called transient ischemic attack or eye stroke)
  • Visual hallucinations
  • Double vision or diplopia
  • Intractable headaches
  • Pupillary abnormalities (sluggish reaction, the difference in size of the pupils)
  • Sudden onset of difficulties in identifying colors
  • Inability to tolerate bright light
  • Visual Field Defects
  • Squint or strabismus (especially adult onset)

Causes of Neuro-ophthalmology:

  • Infections
  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Medications
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Tumors and other obstructions

Who We Are

This department has a fully air-conditioned chamber and a sound proof cubicle inside with an excellent sound system and audiometric arrangements. All forms of deafness and speech problems (deafmutism, stuttering, voice problems, autism) were dealt with in the Hearing and Speech Clinic. This special clinic had been aiding hearing impaired children as well as geriatric population.

There is increasing number of patients attending both outpatient department and hearing and speech centreas information about the clinic is spreading far and wide.
