COMPREHENSIVE OPHTHALMOLOGY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

Are you a skilled Ophthalmologist seeking an enriching experience? Join our dynamic team at Vivekananda Netralaya, Dehradun. We are actively searching for a qualified candidate to take on an 18 month, full-time role. If you hold an MS/ DNB/DOMS in Ophthalmology, we invite you to be a part of our esteemed institution.
Course Details:
  • 18 months Residential Program.
  • Stipend of Rs. 25000 for the first year, Rs. 50000  for the remaining 6  months

ENHANCE SURGICAL PROWESS:
  • Gain extensive hands-on experience in Cataract Surgeries (SICS + PHACO)
  • Independently manage complications arising from cataract surgeries
  • Perform Secondary IOL Implantations
  • Develop expertise in administering Anti-VEGF treatments
ADVANCE MEDICAL COMPETENCE:
  • Autonomously handle OPD cases
  • Specialize in Medical Glaucoma (Diagnosis and Medical Treatment)
  • Explore the realm of Medical Retina
  • Hone your skills in interpreting OCT, HVF, Pentacam, YAG CAP, YAG PI, IOL Master 700
YOUR ROLE:
  • As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Conducting OPD and clinical procedures
  • Diagnosing and treating various eye conditions and injuries
  • Overseeing emergency eye clinics, outpatient clinics, and specialized eye clinics
  • Effectively communicating test results, diagnoses, and treatment choices to patients
  • Potential involvement in local travel for camps and medical centers

Long Term Ophthalmology Fellowship:
Long term ophthalmology fellowship training is offered in comprehensive ophthalmology as well as ophthalmic subspecialty. The following are the long term programmes currently offered at the institute.
Recruitment Process:

OPTOMETRY TRAINING PROGRAMMES

Our Clinical Optometry Training Programmes are aimed to make a fresh Optometry graduate well-versed in preliminary eye exam procedures and to provide appropriate referral services to other specialties.

Objective:

• To understand the basic and advanced principles of Clinical Optometry
• To do a thorough comprehensive eye examination
• To be familiar with basic and advanced diagnostic procedures in Optometry
• To be a competent Optometry Professional with exposure to multi-lingual, multicultural clinical environment and ability to handle different types of patients
• To make appropriate referrals.
